He serves as the President of a graduate school in Canada and in the Caucasus region, and as the Executive Director of a Christian organization that supports Canadian and global partners. He is also the Board Chair of a non-profit society providing shelter, resources, and support services to unhoused and vulnerable communities.

Throughout his career, Dr. Schular has worked across Canada and internationally, with a focus on leadership development, education, refugee support, community outreach, and micro-enterprise initiatives for underserved populations. His global experience includes humanitarian work with displaced communities and practical investment in small-scale business development for the poor.

Dr. Schular studied at Maranatha University and McMaster Divinity College, and completed his doctoral work in Organizational Leadership at Kairos University.
